Disclosures & Compliance

Required disclosures and how we handle compliance.

Medicare marketing is regulated. This page collects the disclosures required of us and explains the review process every piece of public-facing material goes through.

Template notice — have this reviewed

This page is a starting template, not legal advice. Before launch, have an attorney licensed in Georgia review it against your actual data practices, your carrier and FMO agreements, HIPAA where applicable, the Georgia Insurance Code, the TCPA, CAN‑SPAM, and current CMS marketing rules. Replace every highlighted placeholder with real information.

Nature of this website

The content on this site is general educational information. It is not a complete description of benefits and does not constitute an offer of insurance, a quote, or a recommendation of any specific plan. Enrollment in a plan depends on contract renewal. Plan benefits, premiums, copayments, coinsurance, deductibles, formularies and provider networks vary by plan and by county and may change on January 1 of each year. Limitations, copayments and restrictions may apply. You must continue to pay your Medicare Part B premium.

No securities or investment advice

Southern Comprehensive Insurance, LLC is a licensed insurance agency in the State of Georgia (Life & Health License #3550678). We are not registered investment advisers, investment adviser representatives, or registered representatives of a broker‑dealer, and we do not offer securities, investment advisory services, tax advice or legal advice. Nothing on this site should be construed as such advice. Consult a qualified professional for those matters.

Non-discrimination and accessibility of services

We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, age, disability, sex, religion or any other protected class in the provision of services. If you need assistance in another language, or need materials in an alternate format such as large print, please contact us at 404-458-7554 and we will accommodate your request.

How we handle marketing compliance

Medicare marketing is governed by the CMS Medicare Communications and Marketing Guidelines, which change annually, as well as by individual carrier and FMO requirements and Georgia insurance regulations. Our internal process:

  1. Classify the material

Every public-facing item is first classified as either "communication" or "marketing" under current CMS definitions. Material that mentions plan benefits, costs, star ratings, or specific carriers is treated as marketing.

  2. Carrier and FMO review

Marketing material is submitted to the applicable carrier or FMO for review and, where required, for CMS submission through HPMS, before publication.

  3. Required disclaimers applied

The multi-plan disclaimer, the government non-affiliation statement, and any carrier-specific language are applied before anything goes live.

  4. Retention

Approved copies, approval correspondence, approval identifiers and publication dates are retained per carrier and CMS retention requirements.

  5. Annual re-review

The entire site is re-reviewed each year before the Annual Enrollment Period against the current plan-year guidelines, and dated disclosures are updated.

  6. Prompt correction

Any item identified as non-compliant is taken down or corrected immediately, and the correction is documented.

Scope of contact

When you contact us about Medicare, we will discuss only the plan types and products you ask about. We do not make unsolicited contact in violation of CMS rules, and we obtain the required permission to contact and scope of appointment documentation before any Medicare sales appointment.

Report a concern

If you believe any material on this site is inaccurate, misleading, or non-compliant, please tell us at support@scompinsurance.com or 404-458-7554. You may also contact Medicare directly at 1‑800‑MEDICARE, or the Georgia Office of Commissioner of Insurance and Safety Fire.
